Family Pics

For mother's day, we decided we'd take pictures of our family to give to my mom. However, with our schedule, getting out to take pics proved to be a little difficult. So, we decided that we'd just go down to Sears and take studio portraits for now, and then take better ones once our newest little man joins us. After waiting WELL past our appointment time, which isn't fun when it's running into your toddler's nap time, I wasn't the happiest camper when we finally got in to take the pictures. But, I was pretty happy with the outcome. Then again, when you just adore your family, it's really hard not to love pictures of them.

I had to laugh when she posed us for this one, cause I'm sure Daddy wasn't thrilled.

It was hard to get Ola to focus on his brother without lifting my shirt.

And possibly my favorite...our little HAM! If you can't hear the sound effects, he's saying "Cheeeeeeeeeese!"

Practicing

I love practicing things with Ola. Things like saying words, using his flashcards, and practicing his body parts. We took videos of him doing all of these things a long time ago, but never figured out how to load them up. Well, after months of having nothing on our blog, I finally figured out how to upload videos and took some quick ones of him the other day practicing. I love when he learns things!!

Long over due

It's been at least two months since the last post on our blog. Since we lost our camera, I haven't been taking much pictures. Having a tiny, super fast, fabulous digital camera was so much easier than the bulky and slow camera we've had to resort too. But, every once in a while, I have been fast enough to catch some shots. The biggest help though, is the fact that Ola now wants to pose and smile for the camera. Any time a camera comes out, there is our little man saying, "Cheeeeeeeeeeese!" He even did it the other day at the beach when some tourists pulled out their camera to take pictures of the turtles. Such a ham.
